Michelin Porsche Club Championship - Round 3: Fantastic! The Michelin Porsche Club round at Silverstone was one of the best races the Club has ever seen. Up to seven cars battled at the front and the lead changed hands at least six times during the epic 25 minute race. Peter Morris (968CS) drove a superb race to clinch his first Club win, but the 911's of Ian White, John Williams and Craig Rapp put up an almighty battle. White picked up his third 2nd place finish of the season (maybe he'll get his first win at Snetterton?), Williams just lost out on 3rd place when a shot at 2nd on the last lap didn't work out and he got taken by Chris Egginton's 968 to finish 4th. And Rapp, who'd led the race for a while early on had to pit due to picking up a puncture. Egginton's 968CS which had started from pole, but was spun out on the first corner came back to take a well deserved 3rd place. In Class 2, Rob Williams (Carrera) just snatched pole from Tom Segrue (944 S2) and the two battled for the race distance, resulting in Segrue taking the win with Rob Williams just 2 seconds behind. Fraser Robinson took the Class 3 spoils.

Michelin Porsche Open Series - Round 3: The Michelin Porsche Open Series saw a fantastic grid of 26 cars line up for the start of the 3rd race of the season. Chamberlains mighty 935 had some extra competition from Brian Robinson (930) and Steve Donavan (GT3 RS) joining Rupert Lewin's GT2R, but still he proved untouchable, clinching his 3rd win of the season. In Class 2 Craig Rapp took a convincing win ahead of the battling GT3's of Nick Staveley and Kevin Harrison. Series newcomer Gordon Matthew won Class 3 in his 944 Turbo, while class 4 honours went once again to Alex Eacock (944), ahead of Tim Bevan and Nigel Ainge who had a great race for 2nd place.
