Chris Egginton is looking forward to an exciting 2003 debut race meeting at Silverstone this weekend, when he takes on the challenge of competing in both the Porsche Club and Porsche Open rounds.
Due to Peter Morris having to pull out at short notice, Chris has taken up the opportunity to compete in the 993 RSR for this meeting.
"I'm really looking forward to getting out in the 968 for the Porsche Club race this weekend" said Chris "I know Pete's gutted that he can't make it for the Open, but it'll be great to have the opportunity to compete in both races at Silverstone and Pete's been on the verge of winning in his last two outings so I have my work cut out to keep the car on form".
Team manager Gordon Wardle comments: "This will be Chris' first outing after his huge accident at Donington in February, so he's bound to feel a few nerves. But there's nothing like being thrown in the deep end to get the adrenaline running. The 968 needs a few more test days and a major diet to shed 80 kilos before I believe it'll be competitive. Nonetheless the Team are looking forward to a great weekends racing".
