News Update                      www.teamgvr.com Firman steps up to Class 2 with GT3    Henry Firman will be competing in Class 2 of the Michelin Porsche Open this weekend with the ex-David Ellis GT3 Cup car. This is a move up from the 993 Carrera 2 he's been campaigning in Class 3 this season, and will put him up alongside the GT3's of Craig Rapp, Jonathon Cocker, Jason Young and Maurizio Fabris who are currently entered for this round. With little opportunity for track time between purchasing the 911virgin.com backed GT3 and competing in the consecutive Oulton and Donington rounds, Henry will be using these events as essentially familiarisation and testing opportunities in preparation for a serious campaign in 2004.   Howells wins Class 1 Porsche Speed Championship 2003 The final round of the Porsche Speed Championship took place at Longleat on 27th September, with Paul Howells once again smashing the course record and clinching yet another victory in his Team GVR set up 993 RS. Congratulations Paul on winning the Class 1 Porsche Speed Championship for the second year running!  Donington Park 18th - 19th October     The Donington Park timetables are now available on the web site event calendar.
